Looking for peace, space, and that perfect French countryside vibe? Welcome to your cozy holiday retreat on the beautiful estate of Château Le Grand Biard. Everything in this gîte is tastefully finished, and full of charm — ideal for a relaxed getaway in the stunning Loire Valley.

The gîte sleeps 6 guests comfortably and can also be connected to the neighboring gîte La Remise — perfect if you're coming with a bigger group (up to 12 people).

The space

This place strikes the perfect balance between authentic charm and modern comfort. Original materials were reused wherever possible, giving the gîte a warm, authentic feel.

There’s a spacious open living area with a dining table, cozy sitting area, and a fully equipped kitchen.

Head upstairs to the roomy mezzanine, where you’ll find a comfy lounge corner and a TV — great for kicking back after a day of exploring.

The entire gîte is fitted with underfloor heating. You’ll find 2 bathrooms (one is ensuite) with showers and toilets, and 1 separate toilet as well.

Traveling with little ones? Baby beds and high chairs can be provided free of charge — just give us a heads-up.

Oh, and don’t worry about the extras: bed linen, towels and kitchen towels are all included.

Planning a getaway with a bigger group? You can easily book this gîte together with La Remise, right next door. Together, they host up to 12 people.

Outdoor living

Step outside to your own private terrace with a big table, chairs, a parasol, and your own BBQ — ideal for long lunches or late summer evenings under the stars. The terrace is situated at a shared courtyard.

Please note: the gîte is not specially adapted for guests with reduced mobility.

Guest access

You’ll have full access to the 16-hectare estate of Le Grand Biard — plenty of space to roam and relax. And yes, all the fun stuff is included: swimming pool, trampoline, pétanque (jeux de boules) court, game room with table tennis, foosball, and Dutch shuffleboard

Other things to note

The friendly owners live on-site with their two lovely dogs — they’ll be around if you need anything (but won’t get in your way). You could also bring your dog(s), just let us know in advance. We do charge a little extra for the cleaning afterwards if you bring your furrie friend(s).
