"A really lovely gîte on a fabulous estate in a beautiful area of France. We loved how the gite has been renovated (converted from an old coach house). A great balance of preserved traditional features with modern facilities - full kitchen with everything you could need, good shower in the bathroom, and comfortable beds and sofas. The gîte stayed pleasantly cool despite the very hot weather during our stay. The grounds are lovely - a great pool set on the edge of the woods, table tennis in a cool stone building, pétanque court, trampoline and two outdoor seating areas private to our gîte. Plus the woods of the estate to walk the dog in (we also enjoyed meeting Ellen and Paul’s dogs). It was all perfect for us. We enjoyed the local area, visiting the Beauval zoo (excellent) and local villages and chateaux. A great holiday, we would return and recommend to others."
