Looking for a peaceful getaway in the French countryside? Welcome to your home away from home at Chateau Le Grand Biard! This beautifully renovated gîte is full of charm, character, and comfort — the perfect base for your holiday in the Loire Valley.

Everything inside is fresh, stylish, and tastefully finished, with plenty of original details that bring a warm, authentic vibe. The gîte sleeps 6 and can also be connected to the neighboring gîte La Ronde for larger groups of up to 12 people.

The space
We’ve kept as many original features as possible and used reclaimed materials throughout, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere.

The gîte offers a spacious open-plan living area with a dining table, cozy seating with TV, and a modern kitchen fully equipped with an oven, microwave, 3-burner induction hob, and dishwasher. Of course, there are plenty of glasses, dishes, and cutlery for everyone.

You'll stay nice and comfortable thanks to underfloor heating throughout the entire space. The gîte includes one bathroom with a shower and toilet, plus an extra separate toilet. Shower gel and shampoo are provided.

Traveling with little ones? Baby beds and high chairs can be provided free of charge — just let us know in advance.

We’ve made things easy for you: bed linen, towels and kitchen towels are all included in the price.

Need more space? You can also book the gîte La Remise together with La Ronde — perfect for families or groups of friends up to 12 people.

Outside, enjoy your own spacious private terrace with table, chairs, parasol, and a BBQ — ideal for lazy lunches or dinners under the stars. The terrace is situated at a shared courtyard.

Please note: the gîte is not specifically adapted for guests with reduced mobility.

Guest access
The estate of Le Grand Biard spans 16 hectares and is fully open to guests. You're free to enjoy all the leisure facilities on-site — including a swimming pool, trampoline, pétanque court, and indoor games area with table tennis, foosball, and Dutch shuffleboard.

Other things to note
The friendly owners live on-site with their two lovely dogs.
